Your Presenter: Ben Chesler
Ben co-founded a non-profit to combat the child sex trade, then started the non-profit Food Recovery Network to supply community food banks and shelters. He then co-founded Imperfect Foods as a for-profit solution to food waste, which grew from a small warehouse in the Bay Area to having over 1,500 employees across the country five years later. Ben was named one of the "Forbes 30 Under 30", and is now the Associate Director for Entrepreneurship at the Roux Institute where he advises and mentors mission-driven social entrepreneurs, helping them avoid some of the mistakes he made. He has been a SCORE Mentor since 2020.
